Work on Video Project from yesterday. Due Thursday.

Handed out the Rubric for the Product Presentation last week. You should already have this. If not you can open below to view or reprint. Apply the three benefits of marketing and create a video. The instructions in the video are below in the How to create a PowerPoint Video link below. The first 10 slides are what is to be included in an effective video. Tips basically. The last 10 slides or so are how to use PowerPoint to add transistions, animations, and how to record your voice into video. You can use this method to create a voice over text presentaiton into video format. If you are working from home and do not have PowerPoint, you can create a video of any kind, such as tik-tok, your cell phone recording device..etc. The keys if you need to include what is listed in the Rubric to earn the grade.

The Piper Sandler Taking Stock With Teens®survey is a semi-annual research project that gathers input from 7,000 teens with an average age of 16.1 years. Discretionary spending patterns, fashion trends, technology, and brand and media preferences are assessed through surveying a geographically diverse subset of high schools across the U.S. Since the project began in 2001, Piper Sandler has surveyed more than 201,800 teens and collected over 49.7 million data points on teen spending.

Directions Presentation - Review the presentation of directions listed in the google classroom assignment for the Market Segementation project.

  • Rubric below to see how you will be scored for each slide.
  • Open the presentation and review the slides. If you were in class, your instructor went through this with you. If you were out, you need to review these from home. Read the entire direction file in its entirety.
  • Begin by reviewing the article on types of customers that frequent hotels. Many target some, all or one of these (see link below).
  • Create Hotel of your choice in any location.
  • Create a Canva File that will be turned in and handed into google classroom
  • Slide 1: Create a Name and Location for a hotel.
  • Slide 2: Create a List of Activities available based on the location and who you want to target (ideas from the article)
  • Slide 3- 5 - Customer profiles
    • Name of your Profile - 1 pt
    • Apply the 4 methods of segmentation to each profile. 12 pts
    • You need at least 3 details in each of the four methods.
    • Create an avatar for each of the profiles you create and include in your presentation. 2 pts
